@uovo.art: With decades of specialized knowledge in art handling and fabrication, our technical team delivers bespoke solutions for even the most complex projects. When the @still_museum began to make preparations for Clyfford Still’s catalogue raisonné project, we went to work alongside the Museum’s chief conservator to fabricate tables that could display Still’s large-scale works. Each custom-built table has the capability to rotate, lift off its base, and stand vertically for photography. One-by-one, the artworks are unrolled, stretched, photographed, studied, and then returned to climate-controlled storage. This collection is owned by the City and County of Denver. The Clyfford Still Museum stewards roughly 93% of Clyfford Still’s creations, and stores over 200 rolled oil paintings in a dedicated unit at UOVO.
