While lots of them contain citronella, which CAN help keep mosquitoes away in certain applications and conditions it is important to keep in mind that just because an ingredient works in one setting doesn’t mean it works universally! I’m curious, have you tried wristbands and do you think they helped keep mosquitoes away? If you ask me, I will always recommend DEET, picaridin and oil of lemon eucalyptus in applications where is gets onto exposed skin.
