Have you looked into plasmapheresis? I have no idea if it has even been tested on eye disease but they take all your blood out, remove something, then put it back in. Helps with autoimmune diseases and allergies.

I had to do this to my cat. she was born with a clogged duct or something and I had to put medicine like this in her eye. she's fine now.
