All First Responders should carry a few doses of Narcan and gloves with them at all times. They should also be trained and carry valid certifications to safely provide CPR/AED, first aid, and administer Narcan for any calls where there's at least one person who has overdosed or physically injured for whatever reason. Paramedics are not always available to respond to a call right away. These are basic lifesaving skills can determine whether a person(s) lives or dies. If the heart is not beating for whatever reason then the brain is being deprived of oxygen. The First Responders bridge that gap because the longer the brain 🧠 is deprived of oxygen and heart goes without beating, the more likely the person(s) will sustain irreparable brain damage leaving that person in a vegetative condition or worse. Their vehicles need to be fully equipped with c-collars, tourniquets, along with a fully stocked First aid kit to stabilize the person(s) needing assistance. It's terrifying to arrive at a call where there's at least one person who is injured, not breathing, or even bleeding to death, but that's part of their job and they will be put in situations where they need to know what to do.

thats what I was thinking?? so before becoming a police officer shouldn't they have training? like cpr? and over dose training? and then maybe once a yr they should do a fresher course
