Awalnya wanita muda ini mengira anyang-anyangan dan nyeri pinggang yang dirasakan hanyalah efek menjelang haid. Karena merasa keluhan tersebut akan reda sendiri, ia sempat memilih untuk menahannya. Namun hingga tengah malam rasa sakit tak kunjung mereda. Anyang-anyangan semakin mengganggu dan pinggang terasa semakin nyeri. Sekitar jam 2 pagi, kondisinya membuat keluarga memutuskan membawanya ke IGD. Setelah menjalani pemeriksaan, keluhannya ternyata mengarah pada infeksi saluran kemih (ISK). Kondisi seperti ini perlu diperhatikan karena infeksi pada saluran kemih dapat menyebar hingga melibatkan ginjal jika tidak ditangani. Tanda-tanda ISK yang perlu diwaspadai: • Sering ingin pipis meski urine hanya sedikit • Pipis terasa perih atau panas • Urine keruh atau berbau menyengat • Nyeri di perut bawah atau pinggang • Demam, menggigil, mual, atau badan lemas Jadi, anyang-anyangan yang disertai nyeri pinggang dan tak kunjung reda jangan langsung dianggap efek haid.
