I think the lady cop is a new cop so the other cops wanted to make sure she felt empowered to make the call to arrest. I don’t think they were trying to get her to not arrest.

Ashley stole from more than one store. Kids crocs and women’s clothing. Her husband is Swat. She’s a nurse. She was going on vacation and wanted some nice things. Didn’t think she’d get caught. The gal officer actually mellowed out on the drive to the police station and told Ashley that if she hadn’t resisted and just followed along with them detaining her she wouldn’t have been cuffed or arrested and would have just been given criminal citation and went on her way…
