@faiithyfaii: I started tattooing myself after practicing on fake skin 3 months ago. Mostly just practicing line work. I randomly sold something on FB marketplace and the guy showed up and just so happened to be a tattoo artist. He said he sees potential in me and was impressed by what I’ve done so far. He offered to mentor me (as much as he can because he just started another job). He’s been giving me great advice and today I paid him to shade one of my “practice” tats. He taught me the whole time he tattooed me I learned so much…and my tattoo looks so good. A little collab if you will. 😂 This mentor has been a breath of fresh air after learning how unwelcoming the tattoo community is and I’m so thankful to have met him and so excited to see where this journey takes me.
