I only JUST finished the book, and I do see the similarities to Fourth Wing but honestly Dire Bound IS SOOOO GOOD and I never rlly trusted Killian especially since Anassa didnt, I found that very sus. But yeah im soooo excited for Fury Bound and to see Meryn and Stark (hopefully) together

I keep seeing comparisons between Fourth Wing and Dire Bound. The only thing was I didn't feel Meryn gave off Violet Sorrengail's bada$$ vibes like this video suggests. I thought she seemed quite a weak FMC most of the way through to be honest. I wanted her to be the FMC in this clip.
