@athomewithsalma: 🤍GHEE🤍 Make your own homemade ghee using just one ingredient @Kerrygold UK butter. I’ve made a 2kg batch which should last me a few months. Ghee has a very long shelf life so you can store it at room temperature, no refrigeration is required. It is a healthier alternative to seed oils, which i have stopped using in my cooking. It also tastes amazing! #fyp #foryoupage❤️❤️ #bangladeshi #cookwithme #ghee
sorry we’re late!!! love that you’ve turned our golden bars into jars 💛

it's literally butter... I wonder if it has the same effect as the one in the shops, what's the difference between the two and the difference in health benefits? This is not a negative comment, I am just curious. Well done on you for going through the hard.
A kerry gold block of 200g is around £2.25, so it's around £23 for 2kg of ghee. It's not cheaper, but maybe it has better taste and health benefits. There is no right or wrong, each to their own. We can all have our own taste, likes, desires etc

Homemade ghee is so lush. Try the no stir method (requires no scooping)- and bring it to a second foam rising too. Low and slow for al liitle longer than this method. It smells like toffee and is the same golden colour. You can use the strained milk solids for desserts. Love that you’re showing people how to do this ❤️

Do you think it works out cheaper to make ghee this way rather than buying ready made?

the sister is not making butter. she is making GHEE. Ghee is CLARIFIED FAT. Butter consists of impurities and milk solids. Ghee is purified of all this and is lactose free, stronger flavour, longer shelf life.

Clarified butter is cooked to remove water, preventing bacterial growth and extending shelf life. Ghee is cooked longer until the milk solids and sugars brown and caramelize, giving it a rich flavor and even longer storage life.

Do you use ghee instead of cooking oil for everyday cooking for example meat chiken fish curry vegetables etc I thought it’s only for pilau or biryani etc
