The cops are allowed to search you/put you down on the outside of your clothing. They are not allowed to put their hands in your pockets unless they’re petting you down and they feel something that would indicate a gun or a knife then they’re allowed to put their hands in your pocket, but other than that, they are not allowed to put their hands in your pocket, but they can search you and patch you down from the outside
