No but actually name your allergies no matter what they are. For example if you're allergic to orangesc lemons, kiwi etc. we wouldn't use vitamin C products on you because theres potential of triggering an allergic reaction

Lol esthetician here- it’s always important to disclose any and all allergies even if you don’t necessarily think they matter in a facial!!! Ex: Aspirin is a direct derivative of salicylic acid which is commonly used in acne facials. Please be honest with your service providers of ANY & ALL allergies.

As a beautician it’s SO important to disclose all allergies/sensitivities whether you think they’re relevant or not! I genuinely had a woman not disclose a nut allergy until I double checked verbally before the treatment, and the products I was about to use included nut oils!! Don’t ever feel like it’s silly to disclose!

Not too far off at all! 🙈 As an esthetician, I prefer when clients list ALL allergies and sensitivities, you never know what could overlap. For example, BHA (salicylic acid) is chemically related to aspirin, so someone with an aspirin or salicylate allergy could react to it even in skincare.

If you want to feel better, I didn’t mention I’m allergic to nuts because I didn’t think it was applicable. Turns out they use a facial oil with almond in it 🤷♀
