I couldn't agree more! I was jealous of my friends getting engaged, buying houses, etc. When I moved to a new city, I took the pressure off of myself that I was "behind" and needed to hurry up and find someone. Instead, I focused on trying new experiences that would make me happy. A month later, I met my fiancè. We are getting married next year and just bought a house together ❤️I truly believe that redirecting my feelings to focus on me and not what my peers were doing is what led me to my fiancé.
