my mom came to my school w a switch and the school tripped so she signed me out took me to the church next door handled business and then brought me back like I had a dr appointment 😂

Where I live in north Florida, you sign a paper to permit or not for them to have corporal punishment / paddling. They call the parents beforehand. My parents had a wooden paddle that hung with our broom and mop and it’s still there to this day 🤣

My senior year I got three a day for 6 weeks. I was late to history everyday after lunch and I had a choice to write a 1000 words on the evils of being late or three licks. After 6 weeks I didn’t have a choice and had to write them 1000 words. Small town Texas with less than 1000 people. Great times
