nooooo you burn the coffee. that's why it usually says add hot water and not boiling 🤦🏻♀️and if you're making a latte/cappuccino you don't add water at all just steamed milk

coffee can be burnt if water is above 96C, if you have ever had a good coffee the difference is amazing. You won’t get it from the franchised cafes because they are just producing it fast. Go to a proper barista where they take the time to prepare your drink huge difference. Same with cocktails a mixologist truly understands every thing that goes into each drink. Yes it takes time but worth it.

No, it’s not how everyone makes coffee. You shouldn’t put the hot water in the coffee first you should mix it with the milk and then put the hot water in and it does burn the coffee. Try the other way round before you say it doesn’t cause it really does make a difference.
