Go on a whale watching tour out of Watsonville if you get a good weather day. Hit or miss but when it hits, it’s incredible. I saw orcas (with a baby!), humpbacks, ~700 dolphins. Monterey Bay is magical.

I’ve was there in April when looking at schools with my daughter, and then again last month when I took her to start UCSC. It’s a stunning place. I can’t love it enough. Top notch in every way. 100/10
