Motorcyclist here, I think he should have given more space. Yeah they both technically fit but it would be terrifying to be passed by something moving that fast that close. The room for error is so small as it is. I’m not saying move to the other lane like a car but at least to the far side of your lane

I used to ride bikes on the road all the time. My tires were always on the white line or in the 6 inches between the white line and the edge of the road. It’s not hard, if you’re a cyclist and your tires are not on the white line. You’re just a bad person and you deserve to be close.

The bike wanted you to slow to his speed and stay behind him until there’s a passing lane. They do that to cars all the time.

First bicycles can be on any road outside of a highway and are treated as a vehicle so that biker shouldn’t have passed him and secondly most states have a 3 feet passing law on cyclists so the biker is wrong and a AH.
