@hartman.poured: Let’s talk candle making for beginners - more specifically, let’s talk fragrance oils & measurements. 🕯️ If you have questions, please ask. I am always happy to help. 🥰❤️ #candlebusiness #candlesoftiktok #SmallBusiness #DIY
I've done the math the measurements and my candles still have no fragrance. I'm using oils for candles. Candle making is soooo frustrating.

Your videos make this process seem less stressful. Have you thought about doing candle making “retreat” for new makers? You would be a great teacher.

So just go online and use the calculator for candle fragrance, it does the math for you.

I’m starting to get into candle making! Is there a degree limit when you need to add the fragrance? You mentioned at 180°, what if I let the wax sit to get cooler than that will it effect the smell? Alsooo do you add color to your candles?

I am having the issue of frosting no matter if I’m checking the temperature before pouring. Do you have any suggestions to help with the frosting?

This might be a silly question! Can you heat your wax slightly past 185 to pour and measure into the pouring pitcher? im running into an issue that when I heat the wax to 185 it is cooling down too quickly while im measuring and weighing and then im not able to add my fragrance oil timely!

Very helpful! Did you test how much wax the jars hold or is it safe to go by what the supplier has on the site? Also what size is your pouring pitcher and where did you get it?

is it possible to use baking terms like cups and teaspoons? I don't want to do it by percentage per batch and oz

If im using a gourmand fragrance oil, should i lower my percentage? I use 10% to all my candles. But if i use gourmand should i lower it?
