My father was a alcoholic and I grew up knowing that children of addicts are more likely to become addicts so I haven’t touched alcohol since 19 and I seriously have no issue with it

I used to be a heavy drinker, like every day, at one point i had a bar fridge next my bed as a bedside stocked with rum n coke, first thing in the morning and last thing at night was a can of bundy, fast forward 25 years i may have an occasional but do not drink regularly, can take it or leave it these days

I don't drink anymore & it's great! I don't see the point, honestly it should be illegal. The idea of waking up miserable the next day for a bit of drinking is just not worth it.

100% i was a big drinker. gave up 12yrs ago. I have 1 can of ginger beer every couple of mths. I cant do the losing control anymore. it stops me going past 1 can. & hangovers scare me now 😳😳

I struggle with drinking. I don’t drink for a week. Then I have day off then work and I cannot help myself as I could give the candy store. I need help 🥲 I would love to be able to not to drink.

I’ve been sober for like 5 years now I think. I was never really too into it so stopping for me was easy. I definitely don’t think about having a drink at all and it’s not something I’m interested in, even socially. Just remind yourself of why you chose to stop. There’s nothing wrong with having a few here and there though if that’s what you want to do!

I don’t drink alcohol at all and don’t feel the peer pressure to do so but for me it’s the green. I’d love to stop smoking and try sober living for a while if not forever. So fucking hard now but with all the legal avenues

Was a big drinker when I was younger but it never got me to where I truly wanted to be. Over the years I’ve gotten to only drinking once a year now and I honestly don’t miss it or feel the need to drink anymore.
