Hey if a company tells you to manually alter something that has the capability of causing fires, dont do it. If you are not an electrician you should not be modifying cables like this and you open yourself up to not being able to sue when it fails

I need help, please! I've got the MSI MEG AI1300P PCIE5 1300W 80 PLUS PLATINUM FULL MODULAR POWER SUPPLY, and it comes with a gpu connector cable, and I have 5080 which also comes with another connector cable in the same gpu box. Which is best to use, please?

I still don't know why Nvidia made this connector the 8 pin was just fine, 0 problems.... this connector is one of the reasons switching to amd next time I need graphics card

Doesn't Nvidia provide a 600w splitter by default? All you need to do is connect 4 pcie wires to this connector 😅✌

There are formulas that determine the diameter of the cable and size of the connector and how many times it is allowed to bend. Did nvidia not know that?
