Prob because she has hip dysplasia. Getting only the torn labrum fixed and not the underlying problem will result in repetitive torn labrum.

Howww is anyone able to jump, run, kick, or even walk normally with a torn labrum?? I started having pain and locking or clicking about 6 months ago had an MRI about a month ago diagnosed with a torn labrum and it just gets worse every day to the point I have such a hard time walking at all. I’m SO afraid to sit down because it’s SO hard & scary to get up sometimes I have to give myself pep talks just to stand up. I’ve had 3 c sections and that was a piece of cake compared to this 😭my back hurts SO bad I have pain all the way down my right leg & numbness and sometimes when I sleep I’m woke by extreme knee pain because my knee is locked into place. I had to start sleeping with a pillow between my knees. I see the surgeon in 11 days.

GURL I just had my surgery in July!! I play soccer at usf and let me tell you it’s not a painful surgery. The pain I had pre surgery was so much better even 3 days post op! I was on pain meds for only 4days. Being on crutches sucks but you will have so much relief. Mine was torn since hs so I GET the pain. Youll feel like you can run jump do all the things even 3 weeks post op. If you have dr Connor as a surgeon he is also amazing!!!

i’m 9 weeks post op and running at usf, started the alter G this week! first 6 weeks feels so long but it’s so worth not feeling the achey stabby pain every time you run :) i also had dr conner and he is the absolute best!!

i’m seeing this right after my surgery. took 7 months for anyone to believe me and 10 to get the surgery. i played the whole time in pain

I have 2 one in each hip the shot doesn’t work it hurts like hell, but after awhile u body gets used to them and they don’t really hurt anymore.

Real, except it was only slight and didmt require surgery, and part of my hip was fracturing so I had to redshirt🥲 Best of luck for recovery and surgery!!!
