Don’t nurse a battery, string the welding cables out behind the *barn and give them a good quick jolt to clean the sulphites from the plates. Beats any nurse guaranteed. *behind the barn just in case but usually all good. 👍

and no. dont go by the electric testers. theyre junk. if the battery cant handle an actual applied load, its junk. digital testers are a gimmick.

bought the electronic tester had batteries testing good health and fully charged these were deep cycle batteries seemed to discharge too fast bought new and problem gone,need to try load tester just has to be at least 500 amp load tester close to half cca.

Ever have problems with good batteries with burnt/melted posts? Fix in the field with small diameter pipe, solder, arc air rod and booster cable. Clean up with post cleaner and like new.

load tester. the cheap 30 dollar ones will do you just fine. theyre 100 amps. if you want to "actually" load test a battery properly you will need a carbon pile load tester capable of 500 amps.
