@thekingofkings000: It was just before 1 in the morning earlier this week when a 36-year-old man from Coon Rapids came roaring into Ramsey County on 35E. He was trying to get away from Dakota County deputies, who had attempted to stop his gray, 2011 Chevrolet Traverse SUV for a violation. It didn’t work. The suspect hit the gas and headed northbound at dangerous speeds that topped 100 miles per hour. South St. Paul officers joined the pursuit, too, but the driver still didn't stop. He went over the river, past downtown St. Paul, and into Little Canada — where our deputies were waiting. They filed in behind him with lights and sirens activated. He kept running and took the exit ramp onto Interstate 694, Highway 10, and then 35W north. That’s where our deputies ended it (predictably, as Bob Fox noted on the MN Crime Watchers Facebook group page…). In the name of public safety. With another textbook PIT maneuver. And boxing in the Traverse as its driver tried to take off again. Then they put him in cuffs and turned him over to Dakota County. Another exceptional job by RCSO deputies. Another dangerous driver taken off the roads.
