as a young woman in criminal psychology class, I yelled out celebrating this when we watched it. Apparently that wasn't the right reaction because the teacher tried to tell me it's never justified. I told him that respectfully, I don't trust a parent that wouldn't do this.

Jody was loved. My mom called me a liar and my dad and stepmom blamed me for the 10 years of abuse I suffered. Their dismissal affects me more than what those men did.

Bothers me when people think any time in history was safer… crimes happen everywhere all the time even if they are undocumented, not prosecuted, or even if a person is found innocent (bc it can just mean there isn’t enough proof or they had enough money for a great defense, but it still happened) — there is no time when there was less crime. It’s just getting more publicity now bc of technology. People have more support now too. Not gonna lie I love a vigilante
