The one thing I still can’t figure out is the “whale eyes” .. like I see the whites of my dog so much but he doesn’t seem appear stressed and seems relaxed but then I also see the whale eyes when he sees me getting ready to leave.

My dog just got his Therapy Dog certification and during the process I realized that he yawns when he’s uncomfortable or just done being touched. He loves people but he is exhausted after we leave a therapy dog session.

My grandma always told me not to “project human emotions onto dogs” but i can SEE and FEEL when theyre upsat, angry, stressed, or need/want something. They 100% feel the same things we doo!
