1940 is realy close! How could they hide this? There are still people alive that were born before! (My mother in law for example, born in 1933)

Thank you Mr. Rockefeller and hus minions. About the same time they "persuaded" cities around the country to disband all electric trolleys and introduce gas powered busses. Now why would the holder of all of big oil do that? 🤔

This footage is historically accurate. Electric vehicles (EVs) and battery-swapping technology were quite advanced in the early 20th century.
The Truth Behind the Footage
Battery Swapping: In 1943, a fleet of Eucort electric taxis in Barcelona used a system where depleted batteries were swapped for fresh ones in minutes at specialized stations.
Even Earlier Tech: This wasn't new even in the 1940s. In the late 1890s, New York City had a fleet of Electrobat taxis that swapped batteries at a central depot on Broadway.
Electric Buses: London introduced the London Electrobus Company in 1907, featuring buses with a 40-mile range and quick-change battery packs.
Why It Disappeared
These systems were not "hidden" by a conspiracy but rather succumbed to economic reality. Gasoline became cheaper and more portable, while early lead-acid batteries were extremely heavy, expensive to maintain, and lacked the range needed for travel outside of major cities. By the 1930s, the mass-produced Ford Model T and the invention of the electric starter for gas engines made petrol cars more convenient for the average person.

In my youth, we had electric milk floats. There’s no pictures of these at all. The only historic footage is Michael Caine riding on one of them in the morning and drinking a pint of milk but I think there’s evidence has been destroyed now.
