@alwayshannegry: When I told my sister I went skydiving for the first time, she was like you gotta use this song 🤣 I didn’t tell any of my fam or friends I was doing this until after the fact because I didn’t want to pysch myself out so hearing their reactions when I randomly called them afterwards to tell them were priceless!! 😬 If you’re thinking of skydiving and you’re an overthinker/super anxious person like me, I really loved the instructors here at Skydive Golden Gate. I’m so proud of myself. If you know me, this was WAAAAAAY out of my comfort zone! My tandem instructor, Gus was really good at keeping me calm and I really appreciate how patient he was with my redundant nervous questions 😅 Lmao I kept repeating the steps to him over and over again only for me to lowkey dissociate when the airplane door opened. He was like even if you forget all the steps we’ll be fine LOL which basically happened. One of the steps was to hold your arms close to you like mummy style so they don’t get tangled when he deploys the parachute and ever since he told me that I basically was not budging until he tapped my shoulder a few times letting me know it was ok 🤣 Fun fact my friends got me to go on Tower of Terror a long time ago (haven’t gone since) and I still find the drops from that scarier than skydiving 🙈 #bayareacheck #bayarea #skydiving #sf #sftok
