@erdvm: This sweet pug was rushed to us due to respiratory distress. She had all the clinical signs of an upper airway obstruction. Our team moved fast to sedate her and remove this rawhide from her throat. She went home an hour later! ALWAYS supervise your pets with chew toys/bones/etc! Over the years I’ve removed everything from gum to steak bones to toys from the throat of dogs.
