Your wisdom teeth actually did not cause that. Your orthodontist should’ve put a permanent retainer + gave you a removable one, otherwise your teeth will likely shift back to their original position. RETENTION PHASE is crucial after getting your ortho treatment done.

After my braces were removed, My dentist placed permanent retainers on my lower front teeth bec i still have my wisdom teeth. Front teeth still straight after 10 yrs

Teeth are never set, they constantly move. You should have been given a removable and fitted retainer.

did mine for 5 years then put on retainers for another 2 years before i got lazy and decided i don't need them anymore. now my teeth are crooked again 😅🥺

my orthodontist is a TMJ specialist. pinakita niya sa akin yung patient niya na may impacted wisdom tooth then he used tads para itayo yung impacted tooth. so basically nagamit yung wisdom tooth instead of surgically removing it :0

idk why people in the comments are acting like this doesn’t happen, most orthodontists suggest getting them removed before braces. i didn’t they mine removed, waited until my braces came out and started to get pain in my back teeth.. got them out!!! simple.. i don’t wear my retainers and my teeth are fine. (pls do wear retainers tho)

Seek for a TMJD specialist it appears that their treatment plan is way better. I’ve had braces twice, 1st for 7yrs then got TMJD so braces ulit for 1 yr lang pero. All good now, wearing my retainers when sleeping lang.

shemz i lost my retainers and my teeth def moved but im not willing to suffer thru braces again 😭💔 so i think ill get new retainers nalang just to stop them from further shifting (?? is this a good idea ??) 💀💀💀
