I think this might be the prettiest hotel we have ever stayed at! This is 99 The Heritage hotel - one of our favourite Chiang Mai boutique hotels located in the heart of the city. We’ve stayed here 3 times over the past 5 years and it is starting to feel a bit like our home away from home whenever we visit northern Thailand. If you are planning a trip to Chiang Mai and want to treat yourselves then we totally recommend a stay here - the decor is elegant and colonial style and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Honest Review of my Chiang Mai hotel stay. This is in my opinion based on what I personally like to see as a traveler with limited mobility. Holiday Garden Hotel and Resort gets 7/10 rating from me. The pros are: ✅Large room ✅Balcony ✅Gorgeous view of the mountains ✅Lovely swimming pool ✅ Stunning garden-like grounds ✅Close to Nimman and Maya Mall ✅☕️ Lush Cafe on hotel grounds 🩷 My cons: 🛌 Hard bed (an Asian thing) 🍽️Included breakfast I paid a little extra for was awful with very little variety (yet you could order meals from the cafe that were absolutely delicious and made by the same kitchen) huh? 🛁The high side of the tub made getting in and out difficult for me due to my limited mobility. Thankful there was a grab bar to help me get in and out. The shower was powerful and I enjoyed the handheld spray. Overall, this was a lovely setting and the gardens were so peaceful with walkways over koi ponds and waterfalls. This area also included a covered gazebo seating area right outside the cafe, which I loved. Staff were extremely helpful and kind. Location was great for easy Grab ride pickups or food deliveries. I would stay here again but would ask if there is a room with a walk in shower instead. Save this for your next trip to Chiang Mai, a place that will always have a piece of my heart. ❤️
