The reasons the parents didn’t want to press charges are insane. “Too much alcohol situation” absolutely not. No amount of alcohol would force someone into SAing a minor. Their father saying “it would make things harder for them” without as much as ASKING his daughters. Not holding people accountable because it would make things harder on everyone is such a large factor to why women/girls do not come forward about SA. The cop ending with “don’t be drinking anymore” like the girls drinking could have ever caused someone ELSE to SA them. Alcohol is NOT at fault here. There is ONE person at fault and won’t be held accountable. Every single person here failed these girls.
