Mobile mechanics are gonna take over. Shops are quoting people 1200-1500 for brake jobs on one axle. I would be too ashamed to go to work knowing I'm ripping people off that bad. It almost feels illegal.

I was changing out my front wheel bearings on my Jeep last month. A guy pulled into my driveway asking if I was a mobile mechanic and that he had some work needed on his truck. I used to be an auto mechanic and your videos got me reconsidering going back into the field.

So basically everyone thinks mechanics should work for cheap or basically free for whatever reason but not lawyers, chefs, electricians, contractors, hairdressers, etc etc… people don’t complain when their hair is $500 but cry about a couple hours of labour
