Have you ever stopped to think that maybe society has fallen into such decay that putting weapons in the hands of so many people who are mentally unstable, who don’t value their own lives or anyone else’s, might not be a good idea? It’s true — a gun doesn’t fire itself. The real issue is social decay and the irresponsibility in how weapons are used, and solving that will take decades. So, until that happens, it would make sense to have stricter regulations for acquiring guns, apply common sense, and prioritize the value of life over the right to bear arms.

fantastic speech. unfortunately the laws or your constitution needs to be changed. our laws in Australia make it very hard for someone to own a gun. its only getting harder to obtain a licence to own. very strict requirements. I hope you make a huge difference. peace Aj
