This proves zero, she was a powerful woman when there weren’t any. She was a trailblazer, strong willed and took zero crap. Lucille Ball was and is an admirable human. Way ahead of her time.

Lucy Ball was my God Mother. She was a very dedicated friend of my parents. My mother was her stand in/Stuntwoman. She had a hard upbringing and had to be hard to survive. Her father died when she was a small child, her grandfather was bankrupt after a child was injured at his home. Lucy’s mother Dee was very much in control and very direct. Lucy was a brilliant businesswoman and was a perfectionist. She was dedicated to her friends for a lifetime.
