Is this the same even if you have grow lights? I live in Minnesota, and the winters are cold and dry. I have a really great humidifier that does cool and warm mist. I also have a fan and a small heater(in a safe location to not harm plants) . This will be my first winter with a bulk of my plants. Should I still water less

Careful with heaters. I have plants I water more in winter. But then my soil is amended for Canadian Summers. so it becomes drier faster with our heaters on 😅. knowing our plants help though.

I have a moisture thermometer. Stick it in the soil and the dial goes to moist or dry.

This is very helpful. This is my first winter and I’m trying not to over water but all my plants soil is so dry every week! I feel as though I may be over watering, but I’m sticking a chopstick down and it comes out dry every time.

Leave me alone okay. If it looks dead, I give it water. If it looks alive then it has enough water. 😭🤣🤣🤣🤣 I killed too many plants by winter watering already. I have an orchid living off of a humidifier 🤣🤣🤣
