@nopolluting: The Ventum Dynamics VX175 is a compact, building-integrated wind turbine designed for rooftops and urban settings. Thanks to its omnidirectional shroud design, it can capture wind from any direction and is optimized for lower-speed conditions typical of built environments. In terms of power capacity, the manufacturer indicates that at a wind speed of 6 m/s the VX175 can generate about 187 W, while at 13 m/s it may reach up to 1.5 kW of instant power output. Additionally, annual energy production estimates range from roughly 4 000-5 000 kWh/year under average wind conditions (~6–6.5 m/s). Tap the link in our bio to feature your sustainable business. Thank goodness for scientists around the world who are still doing research and inventing things that help humanity.

Nice design. But It’s still just using 19th century technology of rotating copper wire around a magnet to make electricity 🤔

This can also be used to power grain mills with solid state battery flywheel energy storage hybrid systems.

Tall building cause updrafts as heat rises between them. Turbines have been fitted on the sides of tall buildings at the top for years to generate electricity. Generating is not the problem. It is where and how do you install the very heavy batteries needed. The same problem exists with solar panels every roof could be fitted with them, but where do you put the batteries?
