@seruksessions: A.P.A.T.H.Y 🌹 Apathy is really masking your ability to love them like I love you son 😮‍💨 Is it a defence mechanism? You have had your emotions bruised in that area, so you’ve idolised the blunting of your emotions to protect you over the one who said He is your Refuge and your Strength, a Very Present Help in trouble (Psalms 46:1) 🤔 Apathy can show up badly in everything whether you’re aware or not, and even though it may (seem like it will) protect you, it has the ability to hurt others in the process. Protecting yourself at the expense of *loving others the way you’ve been called to (read that again) is ungodly :/ I’m not saying be over emotional or force caring about everything, that’s exhausting. But ask yourself, are you guarding your heart from investing it in people, places, or areas where God has called you to (emphasis on where God has called you to) do so, and if so, why? I know for me it was/is a protective reflex, coz people can be long. #apathy #revelations3 #acousticcovers
