@mike_kelly_photography: Early Wednesday morning, protestors and locals quickly identified a caravan of ICE vehicles conducting random raids across several stores in Cicero. Cars began laying on their horns to alert surrounding civilians to ICE’s presence, while others moved to block their route through the Home Depot parking lot. A brief standoff followed as ICE agents were forced to exit their vehicles before ultimately fleeing the scene. The coordinated pushback from the local community appeared effective — over the next two hours, I witnessed only four arrests despite an ICE presence of more than eight vehicles and twenty agents.
