People always compare Savannah and Charleston. Both ports and have historical districts. I think Savannah is prettier and Charleston has better shopping

You can touch the trees, you just don’t want to mess with the Spanish moss hanging from the trees. There are tiny bugs that live on it

Boston has the cold winter months. Savannah has the hot humid summer months. You went at the perfect time of year. I would choose Boston, it is better positioned to mountains/ocean and has better education/healthcare.

You can touch the trees just don’t mess with the moss! Savannah and Charleston are very similar vibes and looks wise almost the same. Charleston is bigger and there’s more money there, Savannah is slower and more laid back.

Savannah is the most walkable city in the US. We live an hour away and love spending weekends there. Just don’t go in the heat of summer!

I’ve lived in Savananh 21 years. I was born and raised around the Boston area…. I would never go back to live! I love Boston, but there’s nothing like being imerssed in the southern culture. And Savannah is the best way to experience it IMO
