TG was supposed to open for George one night in a very small town of Bulls Gap Tennessee, it was an outdoor concert in the early eighties. The crowd was getting restless because TG was already 30 minutes late and finally the MC came out and said George Jones wants to do his show first so after about 15 more minutes the Jones Boys played a couple songs then George came out and played at least an hour and a half bye the time TG's band was ready to play most of the crowd was already gone and what was left were chanting we want George lol

it was the time technology not necessarily Starday Records. lot of recordings around mid 50s or so, had an echo to it. Unless you were Frank Sinatra or Tony Bennett ..lol Sorry ass Star Dealer
