I hate aging myself but when I was a teenager/early 20s people would try to get barricade for the perfect view/being close to the artist. Not for a trophy for social media.

If camping is allowed then wristbands and numbers are so valid, but if it’s against the rules, then the rules are the only thing that counts. Anything else is honestly just ridiculous

twenty one pilots fans are AWFUL about this too. I'd love to get barricade one day, but I'm not about to do sketchy stuff to secure a barricade number for a FAN MADE line. I've never had pit either, I'm honestly a seats girly through and through especially since I'm so short. But it would be nice to know that I have a fair shot at barricade without being told "oh so they were here first" and being placed number 500+ despite following the venue's rules.

Yes but this only happens because the Venus *allows* it. If a venue owner says they dgaf, this does down. So yea social media is changing but there is a stop that can come down at any moment.
