Dave is one of the king’s twin sons, and back when Layla still lived in the pride, he was one of the few she allowed to get close. Layla, once a solitary lioness, often struggled with the rules, and constant expectations of pride life… Whenever it all became too much, she would retreat to a quiet place near the edge of the territory, her little sanctuary of peace. Dave discovered that spot one day… and kept visiting her there. Over time, it became their place, a secret corner of the world where she could let her guard down and where he could forget the weight of his royal duties. She trusted him, something she rarely did. But when her exile came, Dave stayed loyal to his pride and turned away. That moment broke her. Even now, Layla’s feelings toward him remain torn… caught between anger, heartbreak, and the ache of missing him. 💔 Jinu is a gentle hyena, soft-spoken, curious, and full of empathy. Unlike most of his clan, he doesn’t hate lions. And though he’s nervous around Layla, his kindness slowly starts to reach her. Jinu becomes a small light in Layla’s dark situation. And yes… for now, Talon keeps Layla trapped inside his clan’s den.
