@drcleoryals: A multi-cancer early detection (MCED) test is a blood test that looks for tiny fragments of DNA or other signals that may come from cancer cells. Some of these tests are already being used in care as lab-developed tests, while others are still being studied in clinical trials. They’re not yet FDA-approved or part of standard screening guidelines, but they represent an important and evolving area in early cancer detection research. #cancer #cancertok #cancesurvivor #earlydetection #pancreaticcancer
Wasn’t this what Elizabeth Holmes was trying to do?

I’m extremely thankful for the Signatera test by Natera. I had no way to track my treatment progress without it. My CEA levels were normal even with my tumor inside me. I just had my first follow up Signatera to see how my chemo had helped rid my body of the CtDNA. Hoping it doesn’t take long to get the results. Chemo has been very rough on me.

Is the Signatera test part of CTdna test? And can you talk about that test specifically? Also when there is a positive test how do they find and treat the cancer at such an early stage?

Thanks so much for this information!I always get frustrated when I tell my doctor that I saw something on TikTok. She always dismisses whatever it is and tells me to stay off of it as there’s a lot of misinformation on there. I tell her that the information is coming from medical doctors, but she still won’t listen and says most of the information is not evidence and researched based. 😞

Hello I am in the uk I am on this program as you say it’s only a blood test it’s a trials program here and the blood is flown back to America to be test .We are hoping that the program will be rolled out in 2026 in the UK if all goes well. The object of the CTDNA is to reduce the amount of chemo that is needed if you have cancer cells and that’s a good thing.

I don't care if its thousands out of pocket and insurance does not cover. my life and my husband, kids, and grand babies are worth wayyy more than that so I would do it. I just tried to get the Galleri blood test and my doctor would not write the script needed. a script should not even be needed. I don't understand that.

Even standard-of-care tests aren’t always covered, and insurance often requires multiple preliminary exams or tests before granting approval. Still nice to know something is on the horizon.
