Ryukyu kingdom was independent and tributary state of China. Japan invaded and was very sneaky when they took over. Fooling China so China couldn’t help ryukyu to defend itself!

97% of Okinawa agrees that it is a part of Japan according to a census. The idea of Okinawa being a seperate nationality is completely foreign and only perpetuated by mixed people from America. You Americans have to understand that some places don't have the structure for self sufficience yet and independence will only harm them. It is their choice and they chose Japan.
