for context women and men run in 2 different groups but in this clip they lower it for the man because he is not the first man to pass the finish line he is after the first but the woman is the first person to pass in the women s group that is why they lowered it for him but raised it for her hope it help have a good day.

not a huge fan of this tbh, lowering that tape like that creates a tripping hazard not safe or respectful of the dude ... guy just ran a fast paced marathon and they throw in an obstacle right at the end and put his safety at risk for what smh
