very simple rule to remember if there is no divider/or anything separating the sides of the road then all traffic must stop. if there is something separating the street then only thr side with the school bus have to stop

Why do they care so much about cars that are passing on the opposite side of the road that the bus is picking up from when the bus isn't even picking up kids on that side of the road no one is crossing the street Be different if that was the case but nobody is In Harm's Way on that side of the road

I learned how to drive in the 1980's. You were taught you DO NOT pass a school bus that has it's stop sign out!
