I normally spray like 1/8 of the can at a time and give it 30 sec between sprays. Spray in middle hole but also a bit in top end aswel almost directly on pipe

Apparently a dint in the pipe wher you freeze it can help to stop the plug from sliding through but dunno how I feel about that

I know what you exactly did wrong because I did the same thing. Been using it for years now in the manual depending on brand it says that it needs to be a minimum of 600mm 1000mm from your cut otherwise the pressure will just blow the freezer out

first tip is don't use cans. use a proper co2 source, there are legit and dodgy methods that will extinguish your problems. second tip is crimp the pipe a touch at the freeze point with multis so freeze don't slip

Usually in new areas there’s poly on the back of the love side of the meters. Squeeze that off next time 😂
