It's also perfectly normal to experience gender disappointed!!! it doesn't mean you'll love your baby any less, it just means there's a part of you who has to let go of the idea of a girl!! That's tough and very normal 🩷🩷

it's a natural human experience. and if anyone says different they are lying. no matter what at the end of the day we love the baby no matter what but we just had a dream of what could have been...

I think struggling with infertility helped me bypass gender disappointment. Now I'm blessed with 5 month old twin boy♥

I had a therapy appointment lined up in case I found out the gender of our baby that I didn’t want. I got my girl, so I texted “Cancel my appointment, we are good”. I knew what would happen if I had gender disappointment so I had help lined up. It’s real, and you shouldn’t feel ashamed at all. If anyone tells you, “You should Just be happy it’s healthy” like yes Karen, I am, but I am

Gender disappointment is perfectly fine, I had two boys then went to my private gender scan for my 3rd.. ended up being another boy I burst into tears in the room and the whole way home. I wanted a girl badly! But I wouldn’t change my amazing 3rd boy for the world he’s now 9 and is perfect ! I was just meant to be a boy mum 💙

Just think about all the women who can’t have children. A baby is a baby, the only thing you should worry about is if the baby is healthy.

I just found out im pregnant with our second boy . Before we had our first we suffered years of infertility and loss, never in a million years did i think i would have gender disappointment but it hit me! I cried ! Not because i wasn't so grateful and in love with my little boys but part of me is grieving that little girl i dreamed of and because this is our last baby i never expected these emotions and that's okay 💙 being a boy mum will be the best xx

Im a Mum of two boys and as much as your feelings are completely valid, there is something so so special about watching two little boys grow up together and become best buds.
Their bond is unbreakable and it is pure chaos but in the most fun and adventurous way!

It's perfectly normal to feel disappointment. After finding out my 2nd was another little girl, I cried. I cried and was disappointed for all the things I would miss out on experiencing having a son, not the fact that baby was a girl. Its ok to mourn the life you had envisioned while being excited for the one thats happening.

I cried all the way home from the ultrasound appointment with my second son. I really wanted a little girl so badly and we only wanted to have two. They are 4 & 7 now and the bond they have is so special. I love having two boys more than anything but I get the disappointment too. Congratulations beautiful Mumma 💙💙

As long as you love the child regardless of their gender, and treat them as you would any child you have, thats all that matters. So long as you don't treat them horribly because they weren't born the gender you wanted.

I always dreamed of having a little girl. I have 2 boys 3 years apart (nearly 3 & 6) I don’t know if the feeling will ever go away. My boys have the most incredible bond that I’m so grateful for, seeing them together makes me so happy and so glad they have eachother for life! 🩵
