What is this guy talking about? Unless you just, just started driving manual, then maybe so. But if you are use to driving manual, the level of distraction from using your phone is the same as driving an automatic.

Once you get used to it, there’s plenty of opportunities to text and drive, lots of down time inbetween shifts once you’re up to speed, unless you’re stuck in traffic.
