Yeah right. I used the Osaka amazing pass and it’s convenient for tours and transport around Osaka region. You Buy The JR pass if you also travelling to further prefectures and you take Shinkansen to cut travelling times. You can take local train to other prefectures but will involved changing trains with your luggages and using different regional passes and longer travelling times. Do your research and decide for yourself.

hi im looking to visit Japan in October for 2 weeks landing in Tokyo then straight to Osaka for 7 days but going to Hiroshima the first day and around Osaka/Kyoto for the remaining 6 then back to Tokyo and around Tokyo area for last 7 days. any suggestions?

Hi, we want to visit Japan in September–October. We will arrive in Tokyo and stay there for 6 days, with day trips to Mount Fuji, Kanagawa, and Hakone. After that, we plan to visit Nagoya, Kurama, Nara, Kyoto (2 days), Wakayama, Osaka (3 days), and finally spend 2 days in Fukuoka. 😁
