They filled for trademark as soon as they saw us opening. They opened the express store in November 2024 , why did they not trademark it then. As soon as we shared we are opening and our name , and that they are looking to open in Portsmouth . They filed for the trademark. Bless his tears

I’m on your guys side 100%. I think it’s bs that they are trying to monopolize a potato business in the UK. He literally admits in his apology video that he’s not going after small creators, but then says he’ll send a cease letter to the small creators and then you guys can open back up under his names spud brother expressed that way he gets a percentage of the money and profit from the small creators. It’s complete BS. I stand with the spud father 110%.

I’ve had dealings in IP litigation it can get real messy, Spud Bros would have to prove they are using their registered IP Trademark and trading under it or could risk losing it, owning a trademark doesn’t give you sole access forever to that name if you are not actively using that trademark
